Treasure Hunt
Street evangelism at its best, leads believers into a supernatural lifestyle of Kingdom building. It doesn’t need to be feared, invasive or argumentative. To be a treasure hunter does not require a special talent or gift it takes the compassionate heart of our Father to be willing to step out and do something about finding what is lost. It is a supernatural encounter in which God reveals Himself to us and others , we share His love and saving grace. Papa smear your super on our natural. Let the hunt begin!!!
First we join together to hear testimonies of prior treasure hunts. We then pray and ask God to reveal words of knowledge to us for our treasure map. These become our clues. There are five categories. 1) Location 2) A person’s name 3) A person’s appearance 4) What they might need prayer for 5) The unusual (something out of the ordinary). Treasure map clues are a guide get creative with them I.E. We might have shopping cart on the unusual list, you could be inside a store or in the parking lot. Creativity is a big part of successful treasure hunting. Listen to the Holy Spirits prompting.
We then split up into groups of 3 to 5, collectively we decide on our first category clue, location and proceed to find His treasure. God has already laid the ground work for us. Once you find your treasure using your other clues, we then share with them that we are on a treasure hunt and they have been highlighted to us you simply show them your treasure map. Seeing is believing, then ask them if there are any needs on our list that they might need prayer for. Pray & proceed from there with a Prayer of Salvation if needed. Once you have had your divine encounter share it with others so God can do it again!
Go ye into all the world & preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15
